Reel Danger refers to episode 3 of the Season 7 of the television series Forensic Files which was broadcast for the first time on January 15, 2002.
Plot summary[]
The 1991 investigation into a brutal attack on two boys near a pond relies on evidence fished out of the murky water. It was the first case where Diatom evidence was used to place a suspect at the scene of the crime and references the subsequent case from Season 2 Forensic Files episode "Micro-Clues", which also used Diatom evidence.
The evidence helped in the conviction Christopher Green & Brian Davis, who were both 16 years old and were tried as adults. Their 15-year old accomplice, Trystan “Ty” Speedwell, was sent to a juvenile detention center.
