This Wiki is dedicated to the critically acclaimed television series Forensic Files. Originally debuting on TLC as Medical Detectives in 1996, the show was renamed and moved to Court TV in 2000, which later became truTV in 2008.

Forensic Files highlights how forensic science and technology has helped investigators resolve intriguing crimes, suspicious accidents, and mysterious outbreaks of disease. From 1996 to 2011, over 400 episodes had been produced by Medstar Television, most of which were narrated by Peter Thomas. Forensic Files is currently syndicated in the United States on HLN, formerly CNN Headline News.
