Plot summary[]
In 1985, time of death becomes pivotal after a pregnant woman, Ellen Sherman, is found murdered in her air-conditioned bedroom. A striking similarity between her death and an HBO movie gives forensic examiners the clues they need to thaw out the alibi of a cold-blooded killer, her husband Edward Sherman.
