Cynthia McDonnell is an American female criminal and murderer who appeared in season 8 episode "Bed of Deceit" which focuses around the death of her husband, retired police officer Daniel McDonnell.
Daniel McDonnell is discovered in his bed, dead of a single gunshot wound to the head. His wife, Cynthia McDonnell, first says the motive was robbery; then she tells police he committed suicide.
