Best Foot Forward refers to episode 50 of the Season 13 of the television series Forensic Files which was broadcast for the first time on July 9, 2010.
Plot summary[]
In 2007, Shamaia Smith disappeared from the strip club she worked at in East Hartford, CT. Police look at various customers of the strip club, but focus on local businessman Kenneth Otto when there were inconsistencies with his story about the last time he had seen her.
Upon search of Otto's rural property, cadaver dogs find something in a firepit, at which time he revokes their access. Upon revisit to the property, investigators find a variety of trace evidence, including part of a human foot.
